When I’m not outside exploring the world around me, I spend my time creating. I love to create all types of art, but the one that means the most to me is my digital art. I’m working towards creating my own video game, here’s how that’s going.

My favorite type of video games are the ones that are story-driven. At the heart of it all is a protagonist trying to overcome all the obstacles that’s thrown their way. Without a compelling story and characters, I may not find myself finishing the game.

So, the current stage of production is storyboarding! This is clearly one of the pre-pre stages, only about 5% of the work has been started. The elements of the story are coming together and I’m making sure that there is a cohesive beginning, middle, and end with an interesting hook, climax, and satisfying conclusion. Oh, and I can’t forget about the twists and turns that come along the way!

I’m still very much in the early stages of it all. I’m learning as I go and I understand that big projects like this one will take years to complete. I’m committed to seeing this work through however, I want my video game to make people feel the way I feel when playing games — happy.
